Akselos is a fast-growing simulation technology company (spin-off from MIT) that provides advanced physics-based Digital Twins of critical infrastructure for a wide range of industries.
We have an opening for a Simulation Software Engineer position, based in one of our offices in the US or Europe, or remote. The role is focused on development of high-performance reduced order modeling and FEA-based software as part of our Digital Twin software platform.
The position should be located remotely or ideally nearby Akselos offices: in the US Boston (MA), Houston (TX) or Lausanne (Switzerland)
Main job tasks:
Development of new simulation technology features from Akselos’s technology roadmap, and features requested by Akselos’ customers. The key area is structural integrity analysis, so advanced knowledge and experience with development of finite element analysis (FEA) for linear and nonlinear structural mechanics is a key requirement of the role.
